ISPRM Endorses “The Bologna Declaration”

On August 27, 2019, in Bologna, Italy, the WHO, the European Commission, end user representing organizations, service providers, professional organizations, industry and academic institutions from different parts of the world discussed strategies to unlock human potential by making assistive technology (AT) largely available and accessible at the global and local levels. The meeting ended with the presentation of “The Bologna Declaration”. The Declaration is a short but powerful and inspiring policy document that calls for immediate actions and also indicates future directions.  The group is committed to bring the Bologna Declaration to the highest possible level of policy making and has made a call to endorse this declaration to individuals and to organization.
