ISPRM

Educational Materials for ISPRM Members

Vision and goals

The new ISPRM website (inauguration - June 2008) will function as a large scale electronic source of updated scientific material (chapters, reviews, research papers, instructive case reports, opinion papers, etc. in pdf format) covering all aspects of rehabilitation medicine.

Materials will be supplied by members of the world rehab community, and will be uploaded to appropriate libraries within the 'members only' zones of the website.

Selection, review and uploading of submitted or invited materials will be made by the ISPRM Education and Publication committees.

Materials selection process will emphasize state-of-the-art information, recent advances and future challenges in rehabilitation science linking clinical practice in P&RM to basic science through presentation of theory-driven procedures of assessment & intervention. Emphasis will be given also to outcome measurement and evidence-based P&RM, and finally to integration and cooperation of P&RM with other medical and paramedical professions.

The website educational resources will serve as a common reference for rehab professionals all over the world.

The site is expected to be of major value for countries where rehab infrastructure and rehab education are still poorly developed.

How to find the information you need within the members-only libraries of the website

The educational materials are of different types:

(1) written materials (position papers, consensus statements, original research papers, reviews, case reports, etc.) contributed by ISPRM expert members.

(2) power-point presentations, usually from ISPRM and other P&RM international conferences.

(3) video & audio.

The educational materials are reached through internal or external links (to libraries within the website and its connected hosting space, or to external sources, respectively).

The internal links lead to educational materials that are placed in libraries organized in a structured manner.

Important Note:  Access to 'members only' parts of the website is allowed only to ISPRM members in good standing, upon filling the email address originally submitted to the ISPRM central office, plus a personal password. If you wish to update your details or to retrieve your forgotten password, click here (in case the password was forgotten you will receive it to your email address shortly after entering your email address in the appropriate window).
