ISPRM

Regional Vice Presidents

The ISPRM supports professional and educational activity in the field of Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine that takes place in different parts of the world, on a regional or national basis, and is in accord with the mission and goals of the ISPRM.

To facilitate the liaison between the ISPRM and such regional and national activities, the countries of the world were grouped in five regions. For each of these regions a Regional Vice President is elected every two years by the ISPRM Board of Governors (click here to learn more on that).

Duties and Responsibilities of the Regional Vice-Presidents

  • Promote ISPRM and communicate to the National Societies the decisions, activities etc. of ISPRM
  • Report to the ISPRM activities organized by the National Societies

Please note that the 5 ISPRM regions do not correspond with the geographical terms used to denote the continents.

The five ISPRM regions are:

1.  North America (US, Canada).
2.  Latin America (inc. Mexico, all countries of central America and the Carribean).
3.  Europe (inc. Turkey, all Russia and west-of-Ural ex-USSR republics).
4.  Africa and Middle East (inc. all Arab and Gulf countries, Iran).
5.  Asia and Oceania (inc Australia, NZ, Indonesia, and all countries of the Pacific Ocean).
