The 2nd Asia-Oceanian Conference of Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine was held on 29 April - 2 May, 2010 in Taipei. This biannual event has become an important acedemic activity for rehabilitation physicians within the region. There were about 1500 participants, which were almost double the number of attendees in the 1st AOSPRM held in Nanjing 2 years ago. Speakers and participants also came from other continents including North, Central and South America and Europe. The success of this event will be expected to carry on to the 3rd AOCPRM, which will be held in Bali, Indonesia in Year 2012.
